Qwaq Forums: virtual Application Collaboration tools for business

Qwaq Forums are online work spaces with all the tools, data, and interactivity that people need to explore ideas, resolve issues, track progress, and be more productive. Easy to set up, highly participatory, always available, and secure, Qwaq Forums provide a spatial context that fosters new levels of communication, creativity, problem-solving, and efficiency.

  1. Drag-and-drop content. Easily import documents into your virtual environment. Share documents, images, and even 3-D content by dragging from local folders and dropping into a Qwaq Forum.
  2. Qwaq Multi-Share™. See the edits and commands other users are executing, or take control to drive an application or edit content. This mode of working encourages interaction and collaboration.
  3. Built-in wide area VoIP and text chat. For instantaneous and easy communications with colleagues.
  4. Customize your environment. Start with pre-built templates and add additional environmental elements to facilitate teamwork and communications.
  5. Visual controls. Avatars and unique "laser pointer" controls make it easy to see where people are, what they are looking at, what content they are editing, and how they are using applications.

New features in Qwaq Forums 2.0

  1. Streaming Video. Imported MPEG-4 (mp4) video content is streamed instantaneously to all users with no startup delay. Enjoy synchronized viewing and shared control, and repurpose your existing assets, such as training videos.
  2. Meeting DVR. Record your working sessions for later reuse or analysis, including video and audio of all Forums activity. Select from multiple viewpoints, including user tracking and big picture.
  3. Smart Rooms. Automatically insert updated data and reports from outside sources to custom displays in your forums. Imagine a conference room pre-populated with each Region's dashboard for the weekly meeting.
  4. Enterprise Workflow Integration. QRLs are embeddable links to virtual places, which you can put in calendar invites, instant messages, and wikis. Automatically mail out meeting results and links for easy return. Track recent document changes using your RSS reader.
  5. Forum Pages. Access recent activity in your forums through your desktop browser, or from your smart phone.
